    Hosted our yearly convention. Very tight quarters for our exhibitors. The hotel was under renovation upon our arrival in January 2018, which not disclosed to our convention committee beforehand. Hospitality area had to be held in dining area at night and taken down every night at midnight. Food and service okay. Restaurants in downtown very nice and accommodating.

    Nice old hotel. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Room was very small and had absolutely no view. Parking is an issue and will cost you $6/day to use the parking garage, which is the only parking there is. This was not disclosed when making the reservation. All in all the hotel is worth a one night stay.

    What a treat. If you enjoy historic properties you’re going to love it here. Beautiful lobby and friendly and helpful folks at check in. Ask them for dinner recommendations and they’ll share the best. Room was clean and modern w nice touches like white leather desk chair. We look forward to returning for another visit.

    A wonderful place to celebrate my graduation with family! Everyone was kind and friendly and very helpful. When we mentioned something we needed, we received it immediately, including some AA batteries that we forgot to bring for our grandson's bubble toy - provided free to us just because we asked! We highly recommend this place - everything was clean and the staff were phenomenal!!

    Always great place to stay. Staff are all very friendly. Sorrel's is a great place to grab a drink before walking next door to the Black Friars Theater for a play.
